A Season To Dance will hit the Wagga Civic Theatre’s stage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 3, 4 and 5 at 7pm.
About 350 dancers will take part in the show, which has the theme of the four seasons.
“I have created an original Seasons Ballet for the younger students, but there will also be, hip hop including boys, lyrical, tap, jazz, contemporary, acro and vocal items which are all based on the seasons,” Wagga Academy of Ballet principal Leanne Nicol said.
This year is the 19th end-of-year performance held by the local dance school, with dancers aged from four to 40 taking part.
“My aim is not only to create a family show that we hope will be enjoyed by Wagga audiences but also to give theatre experience to those students who hope to go on to dance or another career in the theatre,” Ms Nicol said.
Tickets to the performances are now available from the Civic Theatre booking office on 6926 9688.
