Abbey Bergmier, Sophie Gooden and Emily Livio were standouts for the Blues while the Knights were well served by Hayden Donohue, Shayla Halbisch and Amy Cowell.
Other under 11 matches saw convincing wins to Turvey Park Reds and Blu-Js.
The Reds were well served by Hannah Stirling (three home runs), Sam O’Reilly and Amelia Hocker against Lake Albert, who had Maddie Court, Mon Dennis and Tristan Dom contributing.
Blu-Js’ Xavier Williams-Byers, Ruby Guy and Myles Guy helped them to a 36-17 win over South Wagga Warriors.
Mack Williams took two ‘classic’ catches, while Mackenzie Smith and Milly Manning showed the way in the batting department.
In the under 13s, South Wagga Warriors enjoyed their first win of the year, beating the improving Lake Albert who enjoyed a full complement of players.
Competition leaders Turvey Park Red were at their defensive best to beat the Saints Dragons 6-0, while Turvey Park Yellow were too strong for Turvey Park Blue, who have shown marked improvement since their big loss in the opening round.
All eyes will be on the Reds this week as they look to complete an undefeated first set of round robin games when they take on Saints Knights.
There was some friendly rivalry in the Under 9s Tee-Ball intra-club games last Saturday with all players showing great improvement.
