Almost 40 students from year three to six created four films based on the topic, free time. German teacher, Lindsie Newham, filmed most of the four while the students wrote the scripts and acted in German. Mrs Newham was thrilled to have all four films shortlists from a pool of hundreds.
“The kids work so hard, it’s amazing to have them all in it,” she said.
Lutheran School has had a great track record in the competition with numerous thirds and seconds. The competition is open to all schools who teach German across Australia. The films will be judged in Sydney on October 22.
