The under 14 representative team returned from a 12-day tour last week and have made a number of long term links with Rajasthan.
After a slow start, the Wagga team were able to acclimatise to the conditions and the scorching heat to came home with a 4-3 win.
Coach Craig Footman thought the team adapted well to the conditions.
“The boys struggled with some slower, lower turning wickets which exposed them to some opportunities to work on their techniques,” Footman said.
“We worked on that in the first couple of games, their footwork, balance and positive thinking, and went from being 2-0 (down) to 4-2 (up).”
Drew Beavan provided one of the hightlights of the tour when he completed a hat-trick and went close to delivering another.
Footman anticipates a number of Indian cricketers will venture to Wagga as the relationship develops.
