The Advertiser reported last month that modern day drivers are are not able to maintain their vehicles and changing a tyre is becoming a rarity.
The Specialist Medical Resources Foundation will be holding a fundraising event on Saturday, September 26, and the Wagga and District Car Club will be holding demonstrations there.
Wagga and District Car Club vice-president Jason Wall said the club would run workshops on how to check a vehicle’s oil, water, fluid levels, tyre pressures and how to change a tyre.
“For me, it’s second nature, but a lot of people wouldn’t even know how to check these things.,” Mr Wall said.
