The Werribee team won’t be the only guests, with former Australian and NRL premiership player Michael Crocker set to attend.
“The coach of the (Victorian) under 11s team said that the boys are really keen to come and are looking forward to playing in the carnival for the first time,” carnival secretary Lola Cummins said.
“Coming from the heart of AFL territory, this will be a great experience for this team.”
Each year the carnival attracts thousands, and this year 150 teams will take part.
More than 200 volunteers will ensure the carnival runs smoothly.
