Injured players Nathan Jones, William Lyell and John Evans are set for a comeback as Coleambally face The Rock-Yerong Creek at home.
Having lost to fellow Farrer League finals contenders Marrar by three points last Saturday, the Blues must win the next three games to qualify.
“If we can get those three [players] back, things will be looking up,” Coleambally coach Mitch Carroll said.
“But we’ll have to be playing good footy to win.”
Jones has missed three games due to injury but he reigns as Coleambally’s lead goal-scorer. Teamed with half forward player Evans, Carroll hopes their reappearance will translate to more points on the scoreboard for the Blues.
Lyell, has been out for four weeks, recovering from a back injury and Carroll hopes Lyell will apply strong tackling pressure on the opponents.
TRYC will play without key forward Andrew Carey and onballer Justin Driscoll.
“Andy’s been our main focus in the forward line,” TRYC coach David Pieper said.
