Marrar resident Brett Buerckner has been growing his mullet for almost three years, vowing only to cut it off if he was to get married.
He is due to marry his fiancee, Amie White, in October and now it’s time to give the mullet the chop – and he will be raising money for charity in the process.
Brett has chosen SIDS for kids as his charity of choice, because it receives relatively little government funding and often the families that suffer from the effects keep the heartache and pain it causes to themselves.
Brett and Amie have arranged a gala day at the Marrar hotel on Saturday from 2pm with food and raffles to raise awareness and money.
