On January 25, a Sunday, Peter and Sandra Black were out for a motorcycle ride on Muttama Road at Coolac when they collided with a Nissan Patrol that was coming from the other direction.

Peter, 52, a bulldozer driver, and Sandra, 47, who worked at Cootamundra Oilseeds, were killed instantly.

The vehicle caught fire and was eventually extinguished by NSW Rural Fire Service volunteers.

At the time, the 60-year-old driver of the Nissan was uninjured, however he was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

Investigations were carried out by Cootamundra police and the scene examined by the NSW Polices Southern Crime Scene Investigation Unit.

Those investigations have led to Cootamundra detectives serving a future court attendance notice on the Nissan driver.

He has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death and two counts of negligent driving causing death.

He will appear before Cootamundra Local Court on September 7.

Peter and Sandra had celebrated their 27^th wedding anniversary just days before the crash, and had three children – Joshua, Jaykeb and Mihkyla.

The couple shared a passion for motorcycle riding.

"They were doing something that they both loved so much, and will never be forgotten," Mihkyla told The Daily Advertiser in January.

"They gave up everything for me and my brothers," she said.

"They both had hearts of gold and would drop anything to help anyone at anytime.

"The next time you hear thunder it will be two beautiful angels riding the Boulevard through the clouds."

Joshua said his parents were always there for their three children and always helping them in any way possible.

"Both meant everything to me and I will love them with all my heart forever.”
