Kahlefeldt has spent the past 20 years chasing his dreams as a professional triathlete and now hopes to use that experience to help others.
Kahlefeldt has set up his coaching business BK Racing and his training programs have already helped his brother Jared and Ryan Miller qualify for Kona in the age groupers.
“I'm slowly starting up BK Racing which is online coaching and individual programs," he said.
"I send them out every week for age groupers, keep in contact regularly with programs and training camps.
"I'm only keeping it small while I'm still racing but I hope to build on it post-career and use my 20 years of experience to help guys coming through get good results.”
Kahlefeldt also recently signed on as an ambassador for McDonalds ‘create your own taste’ gourmet burger.
Kahlefeldt is pleased to have a local sponsor in Tony Aichinger supporting him for the next three years.
