Police allege a 31-year-old Victorian man was travelling south along the Hume Highway in Jugiong at 215 km/h in a 110 km/h zone.
Police initially detected the Victorian-registered black Holden Commodore travelling at 159 km/h.
Police followed the car south along the highway where it was detected travelling 215 km/h.
The driver was stopped and issued with a field court attendance notice for speeding by more than 45 km/h and dangerous driving while disqualified.
He will appear in court at a later date.
