TO-DAY was a repetition of Saturday but with this difference. The whole section was taken over the cliffs for a still march. First we did a bit of helio station work and then at 12.30p.m. came back independently. The Batt. went out at the same time and did guard practice. The whole Batt. was addressed by the Col. and was informed that the G.O.C. said that the 2nd and 8th Batt. were the best especially the 2nd. It was nice to hear it. The Reinf. arrived here about 6.15p.m. and I could not see anyone I knew at all. I went over to the 3rd and Sol Green told me that Phillpots, Doc Sam, Wellington and Peattie had arrived. Met Phillpots and Peattie after tea.
