MEMBER for Wagga Daryl Maguire has conceded there may be "teething problems" in the early days of the new NSW TrainLink bus contracts.

Late last year, Victorian bus company Dysons was awarded the contract to operate the NSW TrainLink bus services from Tumbarumba to Cootamundra, via Wagga, and from Wagga to Griffith for the next eight years.
"If there are shortcomings that have been identified in the early days of the new contractor providing services, we're more than happy to take them up," he said.
"I would always expect whenever there's going to be a change in services, there could possibly be some teething problems."
The new service has come under fire following revelations the buses used by Dysons were half the size of the coaches operated by the previous contract holder, Makeham's, and did not feature onboard toilets.
On December 31, Mr Maguire said the new contracts represented a "big win" for regional NSW and better outcomes would be provided for passengers.
"The things that are being raised quite clearly need attention," Mr Maguire said on Thursday.
"Since returning to work, I've acted on that issue immediately."
Mr Maguire said his office had received only one complaint about the new service, which came on Thursday morning.
His Labor opponent at the coming state election, Dan Hayes, hit out at the new service and called for its shortcomings to be addressed immediately.
"I'm not calling for cancellation of contracts, I'm calling for it to be fixed and for the current member to do something about it," Mr Hayes said.
"I think the people of this electorate would like to know what his plan is to rectify this immediately."
