Police from the Wagga Local Area Command executed a search warrant on the rural property just off the Newell Highway around 3.15pm.
The raid, police said, uncovered just under 300 cannabis plants in pots and a shed, two kilograms of cannabis leaf and seeds, a loaded and unsecured .22 rifle and an amount of ammunition.
Of the plants, 213 were discovered growing in pots in a garden, while another 79 were found growing inside a shed.
The leaf and seeds and rifle were located inside the home, police said.
A 35-year-old man was arrested at the property and taken to Wagga police station. He now faces a string of charges, including possessing charges for unregistered firearm, ammunition and cannabis, not keeping a firearm safely, cultivating cannabis and enhanced indoor cultivation of cannabis for commercial purpose.
After being granted strict conditional bail, the man now has a date with Wagga Local Court on February 11.
