THE last time Dan Reid played for Temora he was best-on-ground in a premiership team.
After 12 months juggling work commitments with playing in AFL Sydney, Reid has decided to pull on his beloved Temora guernsey again next season.
The three Reid brothers will all be back on the paddock in 2015 after Dan and Adam have decided to join brother Jason at the Kangaroos.
Adam has decided to pull the boots back on after a year off, while Dan played 11 games for Western Suburbs in AFL Sydney while spending time in the city with work.
Both will provide Temora with extra grunt through the midfield at a time when the three-time reigning premier need it on the back of six player departures since September's grand final victory.
Reid, 30, is unsure of his availability but confirmed he would be back in the blue and white next year.
"I'm getting a clearance back," Reid said.
"I'm just going to see from there with my history of injuries and things.
"I've got an injured hamstring at the moment that I'm trying to get right."
Reid played 12 senior games for Temora in its 2013 premiership season, highlighted by his best-on-ground performance in the grand final.
He played 11 games with Western Suburbs this season as he spends his time between the farm in Temora and Sydney with the family business, Mimosa Valley Lamb.
Reid will aim to play as many games as possible for Temora.
"I hope to play most," he said.
"The last two years I've played 10 games or so each season and if I could do that this year I would be happy."
Temora has appointed Christin Macri as coach, replacing three-time premiership mentor Mark Kruger.
The change in coach did play a role in Reid returning to Temora.
"One of the reasons is the change in coach," he said.
"Kruger was all or nothing, which is fine, but I couldn't give a definitive answer with work.
"Whip (Macri) is a lot more accommodating with my schedule and will allow my footy to work around me, rather than the other way around."
Reid is looking forward to playing with his brothers again.
They played together in 2013 but Jason was the unlucky one dropped for the grand final.
Reid hopes all three can achieve the ultimate together next season.
"Chooka (Adam) is going to come back and play again, so it's a good opportunity for the three brothers to play together," he said.
"Jase, along with Hages and Matty Wallis, was one of Temora's best three players this year so it will be good to play with him again."
Reid is a former coach at Temora, leading the Kangaroos during the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
