TEMORA best and fairest winner Josh Hagar has decided to return home to Marrar after three premierships with the Kangaroos.
Marrar continued its off-season recruitment campaign with the signature of Hagar and fellow Temora premiership player Jackson Moye on Wednesday.
Hagar lives on a farm just outside Marrar and has spent time at both Farrer League clubs in recent years.
He almost returned to Marrar this year but decided on one more season at Temora and it proved fruitful as he claimed the club's best and fairest award and a third premiership medal.
Hagar also finished in the top five of the Farrer League's Gerald Clear Medal.
Hagar, 27, said it was an extremely difficult decision to leave Temora and return to the Bombers.
"It was a really hard decision to leave," Hagar said.
"The opportunity to go back and play where my old man played 400 plus games and try to create some history with Marrar was too hard to pass by.
"I live eight kilometres from Marrar so it kind of makes sense.
"I had a good chat with (Temora president) Daryl Harpley and leave with no hard feelings, which is really good and I thank him for that.
"It was a bloody tough call but a decision that had to be made.
"I'm pretty excited about 2015."
The acquisition of Hagar and Moye will significantly bolster Marrar's midfield stocks on the back of signing Turvey Park brothers Tyler and Jesse Cunningham last week.
Moye, 21, played in Temora's 2012 and 2014 premierships and finished fifth in the club's best and fairest this year.
Marrar has lost best and fairest winner Shannon Williams to Lockhart, but has also been able to add Tumbarumba forward Matt Molkentin.
Marrar coach Nic Casey is thrilled to get both Hagar and Moye on board.
"Josh is a Marrar local coming home," Casey said.
"He fits exactly what we were after and gives us options on both the inside and outside in the midfield.
"Jackson also gives us another option through the midfield, and up forward as well.
"Most importantly though, along with the other recruits we've got, we know that will fit into our landscape.
"They're both great blokes that will fit in well."
Marrar will begin pre-season training next month.
