TURVEY Park has continued its strong recruitment drive with classy midfielder Dane Campbell back at the Bulldogs.
Campbell is the latest quality recruit to sign with Turvey Park and he returns to Maher Oval after four seasons at Hume League club Lockhart.
Campbell is a premiership player at Turvey Park and made the NSW Country squad during his time with the Bulldogs.
He returns after co-coaching Lockhart for two of the four years and it is that leadership that excites new Turvey Park coach Troy Maiden most.
"Dane's a quality player and a really good finisher," Maiden said.
"From what I understand, the last couple of years he's been a really good leader at Lockhart, he spent a lot of time teaching young guys.
"So yeah it's good to get a quality player but we're also getting a really good leader which will be fantastic for the group."
Maiden believes Campbell's versatility is a bonus but it is expected with his silky skills that he will play predominantly in the midfield.
Campbell's signing comes on the back of Turvey Park unveiling Canberra duo Chad Gibson and Ash Moloney.
Gibson, a former captain at Eastlake, is set to take the Riverina Football League by storm, rotating between the ruck and up forward.
Moloney will line-up forward and rotate through the midfield.
Maiden is excited by the inclusion of three quality footballers.
"I think getting these quality players in, the group will be a bit excited about that I suppose," he said.
"We've been pretty specific in what we've brought into the club with older heads and leadership.
"I think that's an area we can improve."
In further good news for Turvey Park, Chase Grintell has re-signed with the club.
The Bulldogs also hope to announce further signings in coming weeks.
