Two months after Roos were dumped from the Group Nine finals, Hall believes Williams is close to finalising his plans for 2015.
"I think he'll (Williams) more than likely sign on the dotted line this week," Hall said.
The news that Williams is set to stay with Roos is a huge boost following his exploits with the club this year.
After a dramatic start to 2014 - he stood aside as Junee captain-coach - Williams joined Roos mid-season and was an instant success, bagging two tries in his debut game for the team.
However, Williams was restricted by injury at time, but still produced a series of stylish performance for Roos.
The retention of Williams will ease pressure on Roos following the departure of young gun prop Jamin Jolliffe (to Cronulla) and Ethan Gaffney (Forbes).
Likewise, Hall is uncertain whether fullback Tom Webb will stick with Roos next year, while a cloud also hangs over Kiwi enforcer Hayden Davis.
"He's keen (to stay) and we're keen (to keep him)," Hall said.
"We've just got to sort things out."
This year Davis commuted between Wagga and New Zealand to play in Group Nine, but a similar exercise seems unlikely in 2015.
On the credit side, Roos have secured smart Parkes fullback Jake Dooley, who joined the Spacemen from the Illawarra competition in 2014.
Hall yesterday described Dooley as a 21-year-old utility back, who had played representative football this year.
"He's a kid with ability," Hall said.
With Jolliffe heading to the NRL, Hall said Roos were "chasing" a front rower.
"But so are most clubs," he said.
Jolliffe provided Roos with some raw muscle this year, while Davis was the key forward in a lightweight pack.
Despite a shortage of power, Roos still finished fourth on the Group Nine tackle, but were blasted out of the finals by Gundagai.
Roos edged out Young 40-34 in an elimination final on September 7 before being crushed 38-12 by the Tigers in the minor semi-final a week later.
Hall yesterday confirmed Roos would attack the West Wyalong Knockout in February as part of an aggressive pre-season campaign.
"We'll actually be starting training in next week or so," he said.
"We'll have a good preparation."
