Marston was airlifted to Canberra Hospital where she underwent neck and head scans after collapsing underneath fellow jockey Jason Devrimol, who was riding Bunwina in the 1000-metre race.
Devrimol appeared to fall from his mount first, causing Marston to clip the back and come off her horse.
All races were suspended after the accident and the weather was deemed too wet to continue.
Marston temporarily lost consciousness after the fall and regained it a short time later, paramedics said.
But both jockeys left the track in a stable condition, with Devrimol staying behind in Tumut to be treated for minor limb injuries.
Southern District chairman of stewards John Davidson had phoned both jockeys to check their condition.
Davidson said Marston's scans had returned with no blemishes and was given the all-clear by her doctors and released yesterday afternoon.
He said a stewards' inquiry would be launched as soon as the jockeys return to full health.
"I believe, without seeing the footage, there appears to be no one at fault," he said.
"It looks like an accident."
Tumut Turf Club secretary Lauren Roche said the cancellation of races was a blow for the club.
"It was just unfortunate that the rain we had was enough to make it slippery," she said.
The first and only race was won by Springwood Lass on a $3 chance followed by Doskabel ($3.20). Meanwhile, Wagga apprentice Nick Heywood was taken to hospital after injuring his leg in a fall at Goulburn yesterday.
Victorian jockey Belinda Carlile was also injured at Balranald's meeting on Saturday.
Carlile broke her left ankle after being crushed when exiting the barriers during the third race on the program.
She is expected to be sidelined for about six weeks.
As it happened
5.30pm: The jockey that was airlifted from Tumut Turf Club's race day on Saturday afternoon was rolled on by her horse, paramedics say.
Apprentice jockey Chynna Marston, 23, left the track in a stable condition, but was rendered unconscious by the fall.
Riverina Ambulance Inspector Aemonn Purcell said Marston regained consciousness in about 10 minutes.
He said she suffered head and back injuries and was airlifted to Canberra Hospital using Tumut Hospital's helipad.
Another jockey, Jason Devrimol, was taken to Tumut Hospital with minor limb injuries.
4pm: Tumut Turf Club has confirmed that the jockey airlifted from the track was apprentice jockey Chynna Marston aboard Zarababe.
Club secretary Lauren Roche said Zarababe stepped out over the top of another horse, Bunwina, in the 1.55pm race.
Jason Devrimol, who was racing Bunwina, is understood to be in a stable condition and left the track via ambulance.
Races were called off after the accident due to ensure safety.
"It was just unfortunate that the rain we had was enough to make it slippery," Ms Roche said.
3pm: Paramedics have been called to the Tumut Turf Club's Derby Day after a racing accident.
A jockey fell off a horse and will be airlifed to hospital, Riverina Ambulance Inspector Aemonn Purcell said.
The Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter is responding to the accident.
The race meet was called off earlier this afternoon due to showers affecting race one.
