This year marks the third wave of inductions for the hall of fame and this year two of the six inductees will attend the ceremony - aviatrix Senja Robey, a founding member and past president of the Australian Women Pilots Association, and four-time gliding world champion Ingo Renner.
Joining them in being inducted into the hall of fame are Sir Reginald Ansett, Lieutenant Colonel Horace Brinsmead, Harry Hawker and Col Pay.
AAHOF deputy chairman said the institution, now in its third year of existence, was beginning to take off within the industry.
"The AAHOF now is really starting to become well established and particularly well supported by the industry," he said.
The Australian Air Force Cadets will be presented with the Southern Cross Award, which recognises an outstanding contribution made to aviation by an organisation, at this year's ceremony.
Tickets to the gala dinner and ceremony can be purchased at www.aahof.com.au.
