The 54-year-old Griffith man was charged on Monday with knowingly take part in cultivate commercial quantity of cannabis, as well as participating in a criminal group.

A 49-year-old man from Tharbogang was also charged with participating in a criminal group.

Both men have been granted bail and will front Griffith Local Court on November 12.

According to police, a small hydroponic crop of cannabis was located, along with a firearm at one of Monday's search warrants.

It comes after a 51-year-old Hanwood man and a 40-year-old man from Murrami were arrested and charged with related offences on Thursday.

The final phase of Strike Force Oceanic, a joint operation into the illicit drug supply in the community by officers from the Griffith and Far South Coast Local Area Commands, was conducted last week.

Two warrants were executed on Thursday as police sought corroborative evidence about the cultivation of commercial quantities of cannabis from a crop at Crowther, north of Young, earlier this year.

The 2750-plant crop, worth an estimated $6 million, was seized by police following an intensive investigation by strike force officers and members of the state's drug squad. 

A number of people have been arrested and charged in relation to the investigation and are currently before the courts.
