They recounted their school memories over a delightful surprise breakfast at the Wagga Botanic Gardens, followed by their final official assembly.
School vice-captain Joy Lili reflected on her five years at the college.
She is preparing for long-week of intensive study, as she aims to secure a place in a small business course.
"I think it's been really good spending more time together," Miss Lili said, commenting on her final year of school.
"Everyone gets to know each other really well."
As is the tradition, the year 12 students had a ceremony and enjoyed morning tea with their parents after the assembly.
They then travelled to Willans Hill School to engage in a variety of student-run activities.
"The Willans Hill activity was great," Miss Lili said.
"It was a just a very different experience."
To end their last day of the school, the students participated in a competition against the year 11 students.
They played tug-of-war, among other games.
The year 12s prevailed and came through their final day as victors.
Miss Lili said it was hard to believe their school days were over.
"It's a bit surreal," she said.
For the year 11 students she had some advice.
"Just enjoy the ride," she said.
Hugh School Certificate exams commence on October 13.
