Absolutely relishing the chance to play alongside players he regards as "family", Little blasted over for three lightning tries to set up the Bulls decisive victory.
The mainstay of Southcity's 16-point half-time lead, Little's treble continued a rich harvest this season, which has already collected 17 tries, equal highest for the Bulls.
On a day when his speed and uncanny skill were a shining light, Little was later keen to sidestep the limelight - as usual.
Taking stock of his performance, the brilliant Bulls back said he was hardly a one-man band.
"It's all about the ball coming out wide," Little said.
"We can't do anything without the ball.
"We just attack on the fringes."
For Little, the stability of Southcity's express backline is a critical reason for his try-scoring prowess.
"We've been playing together for a while now," he said.
"We're like family.
"Fittness comes into too."
In carving up the under-strength Bulldogs, Little again reinforced his undeniable value to second-placed Southcity.
Stung by a Cootamundra try to powerful centre Chris Maher in the sixth minute, the Bulls hit back in duplicate, with tries to Nathan Rose (10th minute) and Little (13th).
Yet again Little's effort was superb from start to breathtaking finish.
Almost from the kick-off following the Rose try, Southcity captain-coach Daniel Fitzhenry made a slicing break up the left-hand side of the ground before finding Little virtually ambling up in support.
Turning on the afterburner, Little blew the Bulldogs away as he zoomed 35 metres to score in spectacular style.
Needing a game-breaker later, the Bulls found the right man again when Little struck twice in seven minutes to finish the first half.
Both strikes were magnificent in their execution - showcasing Little's dash and daring to the utmost.
Up 26-10 at half-time, the Bulls were hit again by Cootamundra in the 45th minute - replacement Josh Davies slipped over through flimsy defence - before Will Merritt crossed to make up the deficit .
Two tries to the Bulldogs in three minutes breathed life into the challenge, but Southcity countered with two in response to ultimately win with ease.
Fitzhenry later was not getting carried away with the uninspiring success.
"It was one of those games," he said.
"Coota was missing six players and we were missing three.
"They'll (Cootamundra) get better and hopefully so will we.
"At times we were just trading tries."
Significantly, the loss has left Cootamundra's position in the top five under siege.
With four games, and the bye, to go, the Bulldogs are fifth on the table, but only a win ahead of Kangaroos.
Aside from Little, the standouts for Southcity included Rose and lock Mitch Curran, while Grant Boyd and Matt Forsyth tried valiantly for the losers.
