The fatal accident occurred sometime between 1pm on Monday and 8pm on Tuesday.
Concerns were raised for the man when he failed to attend business appointments he had scheduled and he did not contact family members.
Family members contacted police and headed to the location of the accident.
They were stopped by concerned friends who informed them they had found the man who had been involved in an accident.
According to police who attended the scene a short time later, it appeared the man had been travelling along a crest of a very steep hill at the time.
Soft ground at the scene gave away as a result of rain, causing the vehicle to slide down the hill and collide with a fence and fallen tree, causing the vehicle to roll numerous times.
The man was ejected from his vehicle and suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
Police were unable to recover the vehicle from the scene due to the steep and muddy terrain.
