The money forms part of the Regional Freight Pinch Point and Safety Program, which funds improvement work on "key road and rail freight corridors".
Cash has also been listed for ongoing redevelopment work at Wagga Base Hospital ($77.2 million) and the Wagga Courthouse upgrade ($15.17 million).
Travellers
- $17 million ($4.8 million previously allocated) for a new Kapooka bridge
- $5 million for the Gocup Road
- $8.42 million for overtaking lanes at various locations on the Newell Highway
- $3.15 million for safety improvements on the Barton Highway at Murrumbateman
- $4 million for improvements to the Snowy Mountains Highway.
Health
- $77 million draw down on $282 million redevelopment of Wagga Base Hospital
- $4.6 million for mental health services at the hospital.
Justice
- $15.17 million ($1.78 million previously allocated) for Wagga courthouse upgrade.
