Now he has reason to ring his voice even louder and hit the gavel harder after a significant $125 million vote of confidence in the business's operations.
For the third time in a row, Rundles has secured a much sought-after government contract allowing the business to sell the used car fleets of various Commonwealth departments.
In a deal worth $125 million, Mr Allsopp said Rundles would continue to sell government vehicles for another five years on top of a prior 10 years.
Mr Allsopp estimates the business sells more than 1500 cars per calendar year as he lauds the multiplier effect of the business's operations.
"We're showing a continuing commitment to the Riverina and Wagga," he said.
"We continue to employ local people and provide the best vehicle and machinery auctions for our local community."
Mr Allsopp said Rundles employed about eight full time staff and a smaller number of part time staff.
"We're not insignificant," he said.
The government deal coincides with a $3 million fit-out of a warehouse, which has become the business's new headquarters.
"It's a state-of-the-art, great building," he said.
"We're here to stay."
