Harry Edmonds, son Pat and grandson Ryan Geddes marched together as servicemen for the very first time, in an experience Harry said was a "great day" for him.
"It's the first time (we've marched together), hopefully not the last time," he said.
"They've travelled from Sydney and Brisbane to be here."

Harry said he only found out at the last minute - via Facebook - and was thrilled at the surprise when he found out.
Pat said with his father getting older, he and Ryan had decided to come to Wagga to march with him while they still could.
"Dad turns 84 this year and he hasn't been that well, so we decided we'd all come down for Anzac Day with him," he said.
"We haven't had one together ever I don't think as three people who've served before."
For Ryan, who has served recently in Afghanistan, marching together with two other generations of his family was "fantastic", as was the service in Wagga yesterday.
"I love coming to Wagga to do it," he said.
"Wagga's probably one of the best services I've been to."
