THREE AFL Riverina footballers have been offered two-game suspensions after a fiery opening round of both Riverina and Farrer competitions.
Collingullie-Ashmont-Kapooka utility Nathan Fuller, The Rock-Yerong Creek midfielder Dale Hugo and Narrandera's Adam Davis have all been offered two-game suspensions from the weekend.
Fuller was reported for alleged high contact on Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes assistant coach Nic Casey that saw him leave the field on a stretcher and taken to hospital after a heavy clash in the opening term.
Fuller, a 200-game player with a clean record, pleaded his innocence on Saturday and is expected to contest the charge at the tribunal.
Hugo was reported for striking by the goal umpire in The Rock-Yerong Creek's opening round loss to Northern Jets at Victoria Park on Saturday.
Hugo was reported for striking Northern Jets player Michael Keatley with a clinched fist to the chest midway through the third quarter.
Narrandera's Davis has also been offered a two-game suspension for engaging in rough conduct on Leeton-Whitton assistant coach Will Overs.
The incident sparked a melee.
All three reports were put to the AFL Riverina offence grade template and clubs were notified of the results. Clubs have until 10am Tuesday to respond.
