A MAN has touched down in Wagga after being airlifted from Burra Creek near Bethungra after a serious quad bike accident.

The 68-year-old male was pinned under his quad bike when it rolled travelling up a hill.
Paramedics, Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter and members of the Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA) were on the scene.
Rescue authorities experiences difficulties due to the remote location of the accident.
The man has shoulder injuries, says the Ambulance Service.
A 20-year-old male and a 23-year-old male were also became trapped on Monday morning when their ute drove off into a culvert on the Tumbarumba Road near Book Book.
The men were travelling north bound to Wagga for TAFE studies. Police say the car failed to negotiate a right hand bend.
The Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter was tasked to the accident, but was sent elsewhere after the two men were removed from the car in a stable condition.
It took Ambulance Rescue, VRA Rescue and Book Book Rural Fire Service an hour-and-a-half to winch the men from their car.
The driver was trapped at the hip and suffered lower leg fractures, while the passenger had a lower leg fracture as well as a wrist fracture.
Both men were taken to Wagga Base Hospital in a stable condition.
Police believe the accident may be fatigue related, but investigations are continuing.
