Adams joined the Farrer League club as assistant under Nathan Dowdle last year and enjoyed a full season with the club.
Dowdle yesterday confirmed Adams has now moved to Batemans Bay and has signed on to coach AFL Canberra club Southcoast Sea Hawks.
He had reportedly planned to make the move towards the end of 2013 for family reasons, and was later offered the Sea Hawks gig.
Dowdle said Adams would be a huge loss to North Wagga on and off the field.
"We are going to miss him," Dowdle said.
"He came up to me early on last season and explained to me about the move so we knew for a while.
"Fester was great for us last year, he took the pressure off me by taking a couple of training runs and he bought good things to the club.
"He left on good terms, and if he comes back to Wagga he always has a home at our club."
Adams is just the second confirmed departure for the Saints, joining Daniel Smallwood on the outgoing list.
The signs are looking good for an improved season for the club this year, with the addition of a handful of handy young players to the mix.
North Wagga has lined up a trial game against Lockhart on Saturday week, and will travel to Batemans Bay for a gala weekend over March 22 and 23.
The Saints will then play an intra-club game on March 29 before kicking off the season proper on April 12 against Temora.
