THREE'S a charm for Ag College after the club announced Stuart Garrett, James Kanaly and Jack Burey will be co-coaches for the 2014 SIRU season.
Last season's coach Richard Turnbull has been brought back into the coaching fold and will be in a mentoring role.
The three-prong approach was decided after a meeting between committee members and senior players at a meeting on Thursday night.
Ag College president Phil Koch said that the club felt a group approach to the coaching role would be a great way for the three rookie coaches to find their feet.
"We feel that a team approach will give depth and experience to our young coaches," Koch said.
"It will be a good mixture of experience and skills and they will all bring different things to the club."
Loose forward Kanaley is the most experienced of the three coaches having played with the club for the past eight years.
Prop Garrett has been with the club for two seasons while playmaker Burey has only played the one season for Aggies after switching from arch rivals CSU last year.
Koch explained that Turnbull will be used as a mentor for the three coaches, but without the full time commitment he has been accustomed to in his previous role of coach.
The first-season president is confident Aggies will have no trouble in pulling together a playing strong list for the SIRU premiership.
"We've already had some good numbers with some new players coming to training and it's looking very positive," Koch said.
Always regarded as a powerhouse of the premiership, Ag College missed the Premier Division finals after finishing fifth last season, and were defeated by Temora in the First Division grand final.
