WAGGA captain Joel Robinson has declared he has the cattle to go all the way in this year's Konica Cup competition. The representative competition will kick off on Sunday.Wagga is all set to take on a dangerous ACT under 19 team, in the new format of the tournament which involves a Twenty20 match. After failing to qualify for the Konica Cup finals last season, Robinson says this year he is full of confidence."I think this (team) is the strongest line-up we could have put on the park," Robinson confidently revealed yesterday."From the looks of it we have a great bowling line-up."With the inclusion of Wellsy (Grant Wells) to strengthen that middle order I think we have a lot more even spread of guys in the team who can contribute."I think that lack of consistency cost us the Konica Cup last year."Wagga has named a fierce-looking squad of 12 players to take on the ACT under 19 team on Sunday, in the hope of going at least one better than last time.Robinson says he was delighted to see the bowlers he has been given to play, which includes pace men Ethan Bartlett, Wells, Djali Bloomfield and Dean Crane."Hopefully we can build some pressure with our bowling," Robinson said."The ACT team will be good, but maybe they wont be used to the Wagga conditions with the slower outfield and things."We have those three good bowlers at the top there that will hopefully grab some early wickets."Robinson says while there are a couple of players he would have liked to see named in the squad, he is looking forward to working with the relatively young outfit.
