A FAILED townhouse development by former Wagga City councillor Karen Wright and her estranged husband David Vidler is to be sold by auction.Fitzpatricks Real Estate announced yesterday it would auction the Railway Street development in Wagga on October 15.Two of the four townhouses are nearing completion and, according to Fitzpatricks, the property is "ideal for the builder or developer."Ownership of the property was awarded to Ms Wright's half-sister Lorraine Dart, 51, in a NSW Supreme Court decision this year after Ms Wright failed to repay her sister hundreds of thousands of dollars she borrowed to fund its construction. Each townhouse is spread over three levels containing three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, open-plan living areas, ducted heating and cooling, double garage, private rear yard and elevated balconies. Two townhouses require extensive work but "once complete, will offer the utmost exquisite lifestyle", according to the real estate agent."This is a fantastic opportunity for a builder or developer to snap up this development and finish it off as was intended," said Andrew McLeod from Fitzpatricks Real Estate.Bidders for the property at 18-20 Railway Street are asked to register from 10.30am for the 11am auction on Thursday, October 15.
