A 21-YEAR-OLD man from Tolland has admitted to downloading and looking at pornographic images of children and will be sentenced in March.Herbert Sebastian Hall, of Raye Street, appeared at Wagga Local Court yesterday on 16 charges of possessing child pornography and one of possessing cannabis.Hall was unemployed and living with his parents when police raided the family home on September 15 last year, according to police facts that were given to magistrate Anthony Murray. They seized a small amount of cannabis and computer equipment, including a hard drive."The accused indicated the cannabis was for personal use and that his computer equipment more than likely contained pornographic images of children," the facts read.A forensic analysis of the hard drive revealed 731 images and 21 video files that were considered to be pornographic."He also admitted to utilising the internet to obtain the images and video files and downloading them onto his computer. He admitted to periodically reviewing them or gaining further images, once or twice a week," said police. In court, Hall pleaded guilty to the drug charge and two others ? one charge of possessing pornographic images and one of possessing pornographic videos of children.Police withdrew the remaining charges.Hall, dressed in trousers and a white shirt, said nothing as Mr Murray requested that a pre-sentence report be prepared ahead of sentencing on March 1.
