Murrumbidgee peak falls short
The Bureau of Meteorology has released new figures that indicate the river is expected to peak at 10.6 metres instead of 10.9 metres.

It is predicted that the river should reach 10.6 metres in the next couple of hours.
The new level is just below that of the 1974 floods. The Murrumbidgee has been sitting steadily at 10.56 for more than an hour.
