The Cats are the only team to get the better of the Blues so far this season and backed it up to start the Twenty20 competition on Friday night to take a 14-run win after some impressive batting.
However South Wagga had plenty of answers against Lake Albert, as they blasted their way to a big score of their own at Rawlings Park.
Jake Scott then shone with the ball to ensure a big victory.
After making 26 as South Wagga finished their 20 overs at 7-163, the teenager took 5-6 off his four overs to have the Bulls reeling.
They were bowled out for 64 in the 13th over.
After the first six matches in the Twenty20, South Wagga are one of four teams on two points.
Wagga City are the only unbeaten side.
South Wagga face the only team yet to get off the mark, St Michaels, at Geoff Lawson Oval on Monday.
