The Bulldogs have been forced to make four changes to the side who scored a 22-run win over St Michaels at Robertson Oval on Thursday night.
Special guests Josh Staines and Ethan Bartlett will both miss the clash with Kooringal Colts at Harris Park on Saturday while Tim Cameron and Jack Carey are also unavailable.
As such captain-coach Sam Perry labelled the clash against their winless rivals as a danger game.
"It ends up being quite a big game as we've got a few out and you can't really afford to lose any more than one game in the competition," Perry said.
"It's ended up being a huge game for us but I think everyone who is stepping up is definitely good enough to play first grade cricket and now they get an opportunity to cement a spot moving forward."
Savi Don, Jacob Manley and Hayden Cook are all set to come into the side.

However Perry couldn't have been more pleased with how the side kicked off their campaign.
Off to back off a fast start from Bartlett, who smashed 33 off 16 balls in an innings which featured two fours and three sixes.
Ethan Perry was the mainstay of their innings, finishing unbeaten on 54 off 49 balls, as RSL finished at 6-158.
"Our batting was really impressive," Sam Perry said.
"Barts (Bartlett) got us off to a flyer and Eth carried his bat all the way through the innings.
"It was his goal at the start of the game and it was his role to turn the strike over and give Barts on strike throughout the power play and continue on throughout the innings.
"Eth batted really well and didn't face too many balls even though he batted for 20 overs, he didn't even face half the balls."
Charlie Cull then got the RSL bowling attack off to a strong start, having Saints 2-24 as the run rate started to rise.
Tom Byrnes really took it to the Bulldogs attack as he blasted three four and three sixes before being caught on the boundary for 61.
However Saints never looked like they were on their way to their first win of the season.
"In terms of bowling we probably didn't really stick to our plans as well as we should have but all in all I think it was a pretty good performance to win your first game after not playing for four weeks," Perry said.
"Early wickets definitely help in T20 cricket but credit to Tommy Byrnes and Joe Pall who nudged it around before Tommy Byrnes really took the game on.
"It would have been pleasing to see from a spectator point of view but if we had of got him a little earlier I think the game would have been wrapped up a bit quicker."
