So it comes as no surprise the Leeton trainer-driver was desperate to return to the scene as soon as possible after the stressful ordeal of the birth of her first child.
Pitt, 24, gave birth to son Caleb about two months early and had an emergency Caesarean section and a trip to two different hospitals.
Everything got through the experience safe and sound, and it was just seven weeks before Pitt was back doing what she does best last month.
"He's about two-and-a-half months old, the firstborn for me and the fourth for Adam (Richardson, fellow driver)," she said.
"It's been pretty good Caleb fits into our routine pretty well and not much bothers him.
"I wanted to get back quicker than anyone would let me, but I had to take the right steps to get back. I had an emergency C section so I had to do the right steps. I just don't have patience.
"They say you have to wait at least six weeks to heal and when your body says go (you can race). I was saying go at about five."
OTHER NEWS
Pitt is happy to now be back doing what she loves, and will drive Itz My Generation, who won two starts back at Wagga on December 17, at Temora on Saturday night.
"It (birth process) all happened very quickly, it all happened in about five hours from start to finish," she said.
"There was two hospital visits (Leeton and Griffith) and things like that, it was all a little bit scary and daunting.
"But we're happy and healthy now so that's all that matters.
"They were going to send Caleb away to Canberra because he was premature by nine weeks, but he did everything right and kicked all the goals they wanted, so he got to stay in Griffith.
