
Emergency services have responded after a train and car collided outside of Griffith this morning.
Just after 6am on Tuesday emergency services attended a freight train and ute crash at Macedone Road in Yoogali, near Griffith.

Ambulance inspector Marcus Zarins was at the scene and described it as a "very minor incident" with no injuries.
NSW Police also attended the scene.
"Police have been told the driver of the Toyota Hilux utility stopped at the crossing before proceeding across the tracks, when a rail maintenance has struck the rear of the Toyota," a NSW Police spokesperson said.
"The driver and sole occupant of the ute, a man aged in his 30s - as well as the driver and observer of the maintenance vehicle - were uninjured."
The spokesperson said the maintenance vehicle driver underwent mandatory drug and alcohol testing and returned a negative result.

Due to the incident Burley Griffin Way was closed in both directions near Mackay Ave and Irrigation Way, however has since reopened.
The Gardiner Road and Macedone Road level crossings are also closed.
Motorists are asked to allow extra travel time and use an alternative route.
