The 13-year-old battled hard against top seed Jake Dembo, but fell 6-3 6-4 to be eliminated from the 14 and under Wimbledon Championships Australian qualifying.
With the winner earning a ticket to the sport's biggest tournament, West Australian Dembo led 5-1 against Filip Fantasia in the final before the third seed was forced to quit through injury.
Dikkenberg beat Cruz Hewitt, son of multiple grand slam champion Lleyton, in straight sets in the third place playoff.
