
A woman has been taken to Wagga Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition after being run over by a ute at a Riverina property at the weekend.
Around 9.30am on Sunday, emergency services were called to a property on Mundowy Lane at Currawarna, roughly 25 minutes outside Wagga, following reports a woman had been run over by a Toyota Hilux.

A rescue helicopter attended the scene, along with two ambulance crews and officers attached to Wagga Highway Patrol.
A NSW Police spokesperson said that upon arrival, officers located a 56-year-old woman with leg and abdominal injuries.

She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Wagga Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The NSW Police spokesperson said that inquiries into the incident are continuing.
