From battling fires in 2020 to dodging COVID-19 clusters in 2021, the town has been eagerly awaiting the rodeo's return and committee members are expecting an impressive turnout.

The program will kick off at midday with committee ran events commencing at 2pm, and the day's main events from 5pm which are set to draw in the biggest crowd.

Committee member Rodney Bartell guarantees a great day for the whole family, with kids entertainment, live music, food trucks and a bar to coincide with the 'best-bucking horses and bulls in the country'.

"We've been two years behind, but we've got there now," he said. "We've got good entries, good stock, good facilities and a good show here to put on for the people."

Mr Bartell said it is fantastic to see the 75th edition go ahead, identifying the participation of the committees' own horses for the first time in recent years as a noticeable highlight.
