The Bulls are one of four teams level on 18 points heading into the Christmas break after a four-wicket win over Kooringal Colts at Harris Park on Saturday.
It was another team effort with Rhauri MacLeod (33), Jacson Sommerville (31 not out) and Jesse Hampton (23) all chipping in to chase down the Kooringal's 150.
Coach Matt Tansey is pleased with how the side has started off their campaign.
"We've put in a lot of work over the pre-season and it is good for the boys to finally see some rewards," Tansey said. "It's very encouraging and destiny is in our own hands now."
One thing Tansey is looking to see improve in the new year is their ability to finish off teams after Macgregor Hanigan (30) chimed in late.
"We probably let them get about 30 too many, which is a little disappointing but it has been a hallmark of our season so far that we haven't had one or two players dominate in our games this year and hopefully that continues," he said.
