First responders have successfully freed a man who became trapped in his vehicle following a two-vehicle crash along the Hume Highway.

Emergency services were first called to the scene along the Hume Highway at Tumbarumba Road - between Kyeamba and Little Billabong - just before 1pm on Saturday following reports of a two-vehicle collision.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said two ambulances and an inspector were sent to the scene, where a man believed to be in his 40s was found trapped on his left side.
IN OTHER NEWS:
It is believed the two vehicles involved in the collision were a truck and car, and that there was only one person injured in the crash.
The man was freed at the scene and a rescue helicopter was dispatched to take him to hospital.
According to Live Traffic NSW the highway has been closed in both directions to allow for the helicopter to land.
Northbound traffic approaching the crash is heavy, and road users are being cautioned to expect delays and allow extra travel time.
