NSW Ambulance have provided an update following this morning's serious accident at Tabbita.
Three paramedic road crews along with a rescue helicopter with a critical care doctor and a critical care paramedic on board were dispatched to the scene at Back Hillston Road at Tabbita around 8.30am.
Upon arrival, paramedics treated a teenage male for a head injury and he was then transported by road to Griffith Airport before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital.
Paramedics also treated a second teenage for minor injuries, he was transported by road to Griffith Hospital in a stable condition.
Inspector Markus Zarins from NSW Ambulance said bystanders on scene played a big role at the accident.
"The bystanders were great this morning helping the young boys before we arrived," he said.
"The medical team landed nearby and worked with our road crews to stabilise him (the patient who was airlifted to Canberra Hospital) on scene.
"If you're having fun or even working, drive to the conditions and your ability - we don't want anyone ending up in an ambulance."
