Wagga Wagga City Library will close for the Christmas break from 4pm on Friday, December 24, until 10am, Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
Throughout our closure, our online library of eBooks and eAudiobooks will remain available 24/7. No items are due for return during our closing period, and the library does not charge overdue fines.

From Wednesday December 15, visitors to the library are no longer required to check in via QR code, and do not need to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status. Face masks are also no longer required in the library, but we encourage you to use them whenever physical distancing is not possible. Please do not visit the library if you are unwell.
Bookings are now available for our school holiday program.
Our Christmas Food Appeal has again been a great success, with many generous patrons donating non-perishable food items to local families in need. You can make a donation under our bookshelf Christmas tree, inside our front entrance, until December 24. Please check use-by dates on any items you wish to contribute.
Bookings are now available for our school holiday program, with Little Wing Puppets, "Playing with Light". This hands-on workshop for ages 4-12 explores the world of shadow puppetry with experienced puppeteer Jenny Ellis. Children will learn a range of skills to present their own shows and create a puppet they can take home.
You can reserve your child's spot in one of three sessions, running on Thursday, January 20, at 10am, 1pm and 3pm. Tickets are available via our 'What's On' page at waggalibrary.com.au, and cost $10 each plus a small booking fee. Participants under six will need to be accompanied by an adult.
From all of us at the library, thank you for your support in 2021, and we wish you a safe and happy Christmas and New Year.
