Students at Wagga Academy of Ballet are gearing up for their 25th anniversary concert this week, centered around the theme of the silver screen.
Studio owner and artistic director of the concert, Leanne Nicol, said the theme tied in with their "silver anniversary".
After a dress rehearsal on Wednesday, the senior students will perform on Thursday night and the junior's on Saturday morning before a combined show featuring hundreds of students - and an award ceremony - on Saturday night.
Miss Leanne said it was a big effort to bring the show together this year, with the COVID-19 pandemic forcing students into zoom classes for a large portion of the year.
After rehearsing their routines since the end of Term 2, the show is finally coming together.
Miss Leanne said her favourite part of end-of-year concerts is seeing the "joy" on students faces as they perform on stage, as well as the pride on parents faces.
"That makes all the hard work worth it in the end," she said.

16-year-old student Ivy Simpson has been dancing with Wagga Academy of Ballet since she was four, and said the whole teacher faculty has made dancing "such a special experience" for her, and something she hopes to turn into a career one day.
"The experience on stage, you can't describe it," she said.
"It's not just an audience watching you, it's something that you feel in your heart and in your bones."
