The state government has announced a new $5 million funding package for the 190 agricultural shows across the state.
The Wagga Show Society and other large events will be eligible for a $45,000 grant, while medium and small shows can apply for $35,000 and $15,000 respectively.

Robert Hamilton, president of the city's show society, said the funding would be a big boost after not being able to hold the main event twice in a row.
"It's going to be greatly appreciated and it will make things a little bit easier than they have been the last two years," he said.
Mr Hamilton was not sure exactly how they would use the money at this stage but said it would likely go towards improving amenities.
"The showground is more than just the show and it's a year-round thing so we've got to look at the whole picture not just the show," the president said.
Deputy premier Paul Toole said the Country Shows Support Package is an attempt to make sure each event can come back bigger and better after a tough few years.
"Country shows are the heartbeat of so many rural communities - they not only celebrate the best of the best in the community but allow visitors to experience the tastes, sights and sounds of the bush," Mr Toole said.
"In the last two years we've seen droughts, we've seen fires, we've seen floods and we've seen a pandemic and they've all impacted on shows. These grants will provide certainty to show organisers they can lock in suppliers, hire equipment and purchase goods."
Jill Chapman, vice-president of NSW Agricultural Societies, welcomed the funding and said nearly every country show looks set to return in 2022.
"I believe almost all shows will be back next year," she said.
"It will be an absolute celebration and I think shows will enjoy amazing support from their communities."
