A man has been charged after allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road while over three times the legal blood-alcohol limit in the Riverina.

Highway patrol officers were called to the Sturt Highway at Borambola, about 30 kilometres east of Wagga, just before 10.30pm on Saturday following reports of erratic driving.
The officers located a BMW after it had crashed into a railing and a tree near the intersection of Mundarlo Road.
The 49-year old male driver was not injured but allegedly returned a positive roadside breath test.
He was placed under arrest and taken to Wagga Police Station where he allegedly returned a positive reading of 0.152.
The Borambola resident was charged with high-range PCA and is due to appear in Wagga Local Court on Wednesday, February 16.
