Volunteering on behalf of services at events like the Wagga River and Wren Markets on Sunday is providing cadets with pathways into careers.
The markets will be the last of their kind for this year.

Forcadets Shyanne Stanton and Harry White, volunteering for the brigade at the RIver and Wren Markets will enable them entry into the fire brigade before Christmas time.
This is why the duo braved the scorching sun, bearing full uniform for a day dedicated to community service despite them both being freshly 16 and juggling school.
Miss Stanton and Mr White have in common a family history of firefighters and the desire to help people.
Miss Stanton has been volunteering in the Yarragundry Rural Fire Brigade as a cadet for more than two years, having been inspired by mother Nicolle Stanton who has been a firefighter for more than 15 years.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Similarly it was Mrs Stanton's firefighter father, Miss Stanton's pop, who had also inspired her to join the brigade.
"I like volunteering because I like helping people and because it's one of the ways to into the brigade," Miss Stanton said.
Mr White, a cadet of three years, said he aspires to be part of the brigade in a bid to follow in the footsteps of his family members- much like a family tradition.
"I come from a family of firefighters," he said.
"But I also like helping people."
The pair are the perfect example of putting in the hard yards to achieve results, as they both sit just around the corner from graduating as volunteers.
